The Multimodal Awards 2026 raise £13,700 for Transaid
Transaid was proud to once again be the charity partner of the Multimodal Awards, one of the UK transport and logistics industry’s flagship events.
Held at The VOX in Birmingham, the Multimodal Awards 2026 brought together more than 700 professionals from across the sector to recognise excellence and celebrate the people and organisations driving the industry forward. Hosted by writer and comedian Rory Bremner, the evening also provided an opportunity to raise vital funds for our work.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Multimodal team, event attendees and prize donors, an outstanding £13,700 was raised to support our programmes improving road safety and access to healthcare across sub-Saharan Africa.
During the evening, Transaid Chief Executive Caroline Barber highlighted the impact made possible through the industry’s continued support, sharing how Transaid’s partners trained more than 8,000 drivers and riders over the past year. Guests were also encouraged to participate in the silent auction and charity casino.
