Transaid’s 2027 fundraising cycle challenge will take riders on an unforgettable journey from Italy to Slovenia, starting on the Adriatic coast at Jesolo Beach near Venice, passing Lake Bled and finishing on the shores of beautiful Lake Bohinj.

Whether you would like to take part as an individual or as a team, everyone is welcome on Italy to Slovenia 2027!

The challenge

Over four days, you’ll cycle 335km and tackle around 3,650m of climbing, as the landscape transforms from the flatter roads around Venice to vineyard-covered hills, lush valleys and the spectacular mountains and lakes of Slovenia’s Julian Alps.

With rewarding climbs, incredible scenery and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the region’s fantastic food and drink after a day in the saddle, this promises to be a challenging and memorable ride through one of Europe’s most beautiful cycling regions.

Most importantly, every kilometre will help raise vital funds to support Transaid’s work transforming lives through safe, available and sustainable transport.
