Corporate Partnerships
Harnessing transport for good
Partnering with Transaid brings together businesses that believe
transport can be a force for good.
Through strategic partnership, shared expertise and financial support, our corporate partners play a vital role in improving road safety and access to healthcare across sub-Saharan Africa. Together, we harness industry knowledge to create practical, sustainable solutions that transform lives.

Why partner with Transaid?
It is essential for corporations to ensure that their charity partnerships are genuine, transparent, and aligned with their core values and business practices. Transaid’s promise to each of its corporate partners is to build an authentic, meaningful and impactful relationship, that is tailored to the specific requirements of the organisation.
HRH The Princess Royal
Patron of Transaid
“The logistics and transport industry underpins both of Transaid’s core areas of work – improving road safety and enabling access to healthcare. In many communities, safe and reliable transport can mean the difference between life and death.
Transaid’s success is founded on strong partnerships – with companies, institutions, and individuals alike. I would warmly invite others to join this important and impactful journey.”

“We know for sure the tremendous impact that Transaid has with training drivers in Africa. It’s been a life-changing experience for every team member who has had the chance to take part in the programme. I’m really proud of our long-term relationship with Transaid and look forward to continuing this in the years to come.”
Teams of GXO colleagues regularly take part in Transaid’s fundraising events, while employees are seconded to our programmes as driver trainers or through graduate placements.

Global trade enabler DP World plays a critical role in supporting our programmes through its extensive international network and its participation in Transaid’s Transport Technical Advisory Board. The company also supports us financially through its corporate membership, the Christmas Appeal and prize donations. In 2024, DP World invited HRH The Princess Royal to visit its Southampton port and logistics hub to showcase its operations, with the visit facilitated by Transaid.

The UK’s leading public transport provider, Go-Ahead, has been a Transaid corporate member since 2012. In alignment with its ESG commitments, the company provides valuable technical insight to support Transaid’s work. Its sector expertise contributes to the development of new national standards and training curricula across Africa.
Buses donated by Go-Ahead also help to increase driver training capacity at Transaid’s long-term partner, the Industrial Training Centre in Zambia.

Microlise is a key Transaid fundraising partner, hosting us as the beneficiary charity at its annual conference and dinner, organising the Transaid Football Cup and Microlise Golf Day, and participating in our cycle challenges regularly. It raises tens of thousands of pounds for Transaid each year.
The company further supports our work by equipping donated vehicles with its telematics technology, enhancing road safety through driver training at partner facilities in Africa.
