Get ready to take on Transaid’s first-ever trek fundraising challenge: an unforgettable one-day 32-kilometre adventure through the spectacular Peak District. Starting at Mam Tor, the route follows dramatic ridgelines overlooking the Edale Valley and summits seven of the area’s highest points, including Kinder Low, Ringing Roger, Lose Hill and the iconic Mam Tor.

With 1,250m of ascent, steep climbs, rocky paths and sweeping views along the way, this is a genuine challenge!

Whether you would like to take part as an individual or as a team, everyone is welcome.

The challenge

The one-day challenge starts from Mam Tor, then the route follows a spectacular ridgeline overlooking the Edale Valley, taking in Lord’s Seat, Brown Knoll and Kinder Low, the highest point of the trek at 633m, before descending into Edale. From here, a steep climb leads to Ringing Roger and another stretch of beautiful ridgeline walking, followed by a descent into Hope.

The final major ascent takes us over Lose Hill, Back Tor and Barker Bank before reaching our final summit, the iconic Mam Tor. Then, it’s downhill to Edale for a well-earned celebration.

Every kilometre covered will help raise vital funds to support Transaid’s work transforming lives through safe, available and sustainable transport.
