Transaid Ambassador Robert Jervis walks to raise funds for Transaid
Transaid Ambassador and Managing Director of Clarion Events, Robert Jervis, has raised almost £6,000 for Transaid by walking 147 miles along canals from Clarion Events’ headquarters in Fulham, London, to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. Robert’s challenge began on 26th April, walking 19 miles to Uxbridge. Robert walked between 14 and 17 miles per day on his journey through King’s Langley, Cheddington, and Bletchley, but then quickly progressed to up to 26 miles a day through Bugbrooke and Long Itchington to the NEC – equivalent to a marathon!
