We work with governments and partners to train driver trainers. Our driver training programmes make drivers more competent, vehicles safer, and reduce death and injury on the road.

Every driver should be able to leave for a day’s work without the fear they may not come home because of a lack of training, or dangerous vehicles and roads. Nothing should prevent communities from accessing vital healthcare.

Transaid provides a broad range of technical assistance to a variety of development organisations in circumstances where transport constraints are inhibiting safe and timely access to health services or markets.
