Meet Timothy and his son, Dixon. When Dixon contracted severe malaria, he received vital assistance from Hills Ngosa, a Community Health Volunteer (CHV) in Kamwala. Dixon and Timothy Chibuye CHVs are the backbone of the health system in rural Zambia and a vital part of the MAM@Scale programme. This programme was implemented by a consortium of partners that secured valuable funding from Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) and the Government of Canada to enable the scale up of the original pilot project.
