Corporate Support

Transaid offers a practical and relevant way for the transport & logistics industry to make a contribution to the fight against poverty and disadvantage.

Transaid was co-founded by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and we owe our growth and continued success to the ongoing commitment of the UK industry.  Read more about our history here.

Transaid Members
Transaid is supported by a group of member companies including some of the biggest names in the Transport and Logistics industry.  These companies help to provide funding, resources and expertise.  Our members contribute directly to our work through seconding Professional Volunteers for short-term placements overseas.  They also provide core funding through a regular annual donation which is vital to our existence, in addition to project funding.

Professional Driver Training Project (PDTP) Consortium
The Transaid Professional Driver Training Consortium, is a group of companies including Transaid members and supporters who are committed to the development of our work to improve commercial driver training standards and road safety across sub-Saharan Africa.  The Professional Driver Training Project is currently operating in Zambia and Tanzania.

Corporate Supporters
Transaid is supported by many more companies within the industry and beyond who give one-off donations, including gifts in kind, and conduct employee fundraising activities on our behalf.  Supporting companies ate encourage to take part in Transaid events and appeals including the Africa Challenge Series, Christmas Appeal and Transaid Week.
