Projecto de Transportes e Saúde Materna – Afeganistão
Este estudo de caso técnico detalha o fundo, metodologia e conclusões de um projeto que focada no desenvolvimento de uma solução de transporte adequado para garantir que as mulheres grávidas podem acessar serviços de saúde no momento do nascimento na província de Balkh , Afeganistão. As soluções de transporte consideradas incluíram trenós puxados a burro e uma variedade de macas construídos a partir de materiais locais e bancos.
