Women in Logistics Ball raises £9000 for Transaid!

On Friday 26th June, Women in Logistics hosted their fourth annual ball and awards in aid of Transaid. Taking place at Hinkley Island Hotel, Leicestershire, 290 people came together to reward and recognise the role of women in the transport and logistics sector. A huge congratulations to all those who won one of the Awards.

The night started with a three course meal, topped off with the infamous Women in Logistics cupcakes, the Transaid raffle, a live band, and finally a DJ. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes to the raffle and to all those that took part – this alone raised an amazing £1700 for Transaid!

Overall, the final amount of money raised for Transaid is nearly £9000! This is an incredible amount of money and will make a huge difference to our projects across Africa and the developing world. A huge thank you to the Women in Logistics team for organising such a fantastic and successful evening, and congratulations again to all the worth winners.
