Transaid’s 2018 Christmas Appeal continues with a call for individual donations

Transaid’s Christmas Appeal enters its second phase as we call upon individuals to help us make this year’s total our highest ever in time for our 20^th anniversary year.

Your support will strengthen our ability to transform lives through safe, available, and sustainable transport, including through professional driver training programmes, improving transport management systems, and providing rural access to life-saving healthcare.

Last year’s Christmas Appeal was a great success thanks to some very humbling generosity from individuals and companies across the UK transport and logistics industry, exceeding expectations to raise a wonderful total of £26,442.

This year we are very fortunate to have secured match funding, meaning that all individual donations made to the appeal will be doubled. If you are looking to give something back this festive season, now is the perfect time to donate as your contribution will go even further and really make a difference.

Thanks to this unique opportunity, this year we have set ourselves an ambitious fundraising target of £3,000 from individual donations. This campaign is also part of a wider appeal, aiming to raise a total of £25,000 from both businesses and individuals. Whilst we have already met our target for the wider appeal largely thanks to corporate donations, we still need support from individuals to help us get the most from our match funding.
