Transaid attends UK Bus Summit

Transaid attended the second annual UK Bus Summit on 11^th February, which was held in the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster. Set up by Transport Times and supported by the Department for Transport, the UK Bus Summit exists to bring together operators, local authorities, and the bus supply industry to focus on some of the most salient topics and issues within the sector.

In between attending the day’s sessions, a number of people visited the Transaid stand to learn more about the charity’s transport programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa, and about the involvement of corporate supporters Stagecoach, GoAhead and National Express in the work we do. Others were interested in finding out more about Transaid’s upcoming fundraising challenges- Cycle South Africa (2017) and Nightrider London & Liverpool (2016); please click here for further details.
