Say hello to Ligentia’s Neat Initiative

In October, Ligentia’s Group Senior Marketing Manager Kelly Hobson was amongst the group of corporate supporters who visited Transaid’s programmes in Zambia.

Having seen first-hand the difference that Transaid was making both on Zambia’s roads and in rural communities, Kelly returned to the UK determined to do more to support our work.

It didn’t take long for her to find a way to make a difference, and one month later Ligentia’s Neat Initiative was launched. The initiative aims to be an industry-wide voice advocating for better environmental practices, as well as supporting our programmes in Africa.

The first phase of the Neat Initiative will combine these two important issues through the sale of eco-friendly reusable water bottles, with £5 from every sale going directly to our programmes. This means that every 100 bottles sold will fund a new bicycle ambulance in Africa.

As a corporate partner of Transaid, Ligentia is already part of a network of transport and logistics companies committed to making a difference. We are excited to be a part of this new initiative to highlight the importance of  environmental sustainability in transport and logistics.
