Insights on motorcycles and motorised three-wheelers: before and during COVID-19
We believe that it is important to connect with one another even when social distancing is keeping us apart. That is why we are excited to share some updates with you during our webinar at 2:00pm (British Summer Time) on Tuesday 30th June.
During the event, which will last approximately 45 minutes, you will hear from Kim Van Der Weijde, Transaid Project Manager, and from our partners in the field. This webinar will highlight the key findings from the Research for Community Access Partnership (ReCAP) study in five sub-Saharan countries. We will also discuss the changes observed in motorcycle and motorised three-wheeler use during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will also discuss existing policies, as well as those introduced as a part of the COVID-19 response.
We’ll be sending a recording of the webinar to everyone who’s registered, so if you would like to attend but cannot make the scheduled time, you can register today and watch it at a later date.
About the webinar
Motorcycles and motorised three wheelers are an essential and rapidly increasing mode of transport in many African countries. In order to improve the current knowledge and understanding of the benefits and disbenefits of motorcycles and motorised three wheelers, Transaid, together with Amend and TRL carried out a series of studies in Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and DRC as a part of the Research for Community Access Partnership (ReCAP), which this webinar will explore along with changes that have been observed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will also be answering any questions you may have in a Q&A session at the end.
