Iveco and the Transport Association raise £15,000 for Transaid

Transaid were delighted to receive a cheque from Iveco and the Transport Association on the 9th January for an incredible £15,000. This money was raised by members of the Transport Association who trialled the new Iveco Stralis MY2016 for two week periods throughout 2016 and made a donation to Transaid. Iveco then matched this money.

Iveco were a founding member of Transaid, coming on board nearly 20 years ago. In that time they have supported in a range of ways including sponsoring the making of two important films documenting Transaid’s work, donating excellent prizes for auctions, and promoting Transaid at various events.

This money will make a huge difference to Transaid’s projects in sub-Saharan Africa. Thank you to all those companies who took part in the scheme, and particularly to Iveco and the Transport Association for making this happen.
