CILT Scottish Region Dinner

The CILT Scottish Region Dinner was held at The Royal Over-Sees League, Over-Sees House in Edinburgh on 5^th November. Transaid was fortunate enough to be chosen to be the beneficiary charity for the evening, reflecting the long partnership between CILT and Transaid.

The event was attended by 130 guests from all sectors of Transport & Logistics. Guests enjoyed a superb meal and excellent speeches from Beverley Bell (President of CILT) and Prof John Lennon of Glasgow Caledonian University. The evening’s raffle in aid of Transaid raised £1125, a fantastic sum of money to receive and for which we are extremely grateful, so a huge thank you must go to all the guests for their generosity. Without donations such as these, Transaid’s ability to implement new projects and develop existing ones would be significantly reduced. Thank you also to the organisers of the CILT Scottish Region Dinner for their continued support, the companies who donated prizes to the raffle, as well as 154 Regiment Royal Logistics Corps who kindly sponsored the event.
