CEO cheers on Wincanton cyclists

Our CEO Gary Forster travelled to Land’s End to see Wincanton cyclists set off on their epic ride to John O’Groats. Gary talked to the riders about how much their efforts mean to Transaid – it’s an incredibly tough ride, as 200 riders will cover 999 miles over 12 days. On the first day alone they will cycle 94 miles, with 9,000 ft of climbing.

Wincanton planned the ride as part of the company’s 90th anniversary celebrations. Money raised from the event will be donated to Transaid and the British Heart Foundation. Check out their fundraising page here.
