Transport, Agriculture and Integrated Development Project (TrAIDe); Supply Chain Management for Smallholder Farmers and Cooperatives Formative Research.

This technical case study outlines the background, methodology, outcomes and conclusions of the first phase of a project that looked at transport, agriculture and integrated development in Hawassa, Ethiopia. The first phase was a six month formative research programme that identified the factors which affect market access and the supply chain challenges faced by smallholder farmers.
