2013- “Emergency Transport Scheme (ETS) in Adamawa State, Nigeria (Advocacy and Stakeholder Sensitisation)”

This technical case study outlines the background, methodology and conclusions of the advocacy and stakeholder sensitisation activities that were part of the implementation of an Emergency Transport Scheme (ETS) in Adamawa State, Northern Nigeria. This Emergency Transport Scheme aims to provide a means of transport for pregnant women during labour or emergencies that takes them to the nearest health facility using an existing transport system.
