2002 – “The Introduction and Trial of a New Design for Bicycle Ambulances / Trailers in Salima District, Malawi”

This technical case study details the background, methodology and conclusions of a project that focused on the problems faced in getting urgent medical cases referred to primary health facilities and the final distribution of food and supplies to rural areas and how the introduction of a new design of bicycle ambulance could help to solve these issues.
