MAHEFA (Madagascar Community-Based Health Program) aims to have effective community participation and supportive community institutions to sustain Community Health Workers and reinforce healthy home behaviors and water, sanitation and hygiene improvements. MAHEFA also works on maternal, newborn and child health by ensuring high quality primary health care services provided by Community Health Workers.
