How to support Transaid Month

You can take part as an organisation or as an individual.

You can take up any of the activities suggested below or carry out your own activities which raise awareness of and funds for Transaid, at any time in May.

• Promotional Materials

  Transaid will be providing a wide range of promotional materials available to order. All proceeds will support Transaid’s programmes across sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Vehicle Stickers (300mm x 300mm), which you may place on your vehicles or anywhere.
  • Roller banners (H2000mm x W800mm)
  • Vacuum mugs
  • Vacuum water bottles
  • Phone stand keyholders

  You can also produce your own co-branded items.

  

• Communications

  You could talk about Transaid to your employees, suppliers and clients, or feature Transaid on your website, in your newsletter, and on social media. You could also promote Transaid in your meetings, conferences, seminars and town halls. Transaid will provide a comms pack and a slide deck which you may use.

• Payroll Giving

  Already have a Payroll Giving scheme in place?​

  • You can mention the Payroll Giving option in your internal comms featuring Transaid.​
  • You can match and donate the amount of payroll giving donation made by your employees in May.​

  Don’t have a Payroll Giving scheme in your business?​

  • Payroll Giving is a way of giving money to charity without paying tax on it.​

• Fundraising & Donations

  Feel free to put on fundraising activities such as bake sales, walking/running/dance challenges, car wash services and choir concerts.
