Mercy Graduated in 2021 in Politics and International Relations at Lancaster University and is currently a Graduate Management Trainee for Wincanton, a leading supply chain partner for British Businesses. She has worked as a Transport Planner using market knowledge to complete transport solutions on behalf of customers and is currently a project coordinator at the Inland Border Facility. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is committed to broadening her knowledge and experience in logistics and supply chain management. During her time at university, Mercy spent a year working as a Business Data Analyst at Intel Corporation and has worked as a marketing intern at Cambridge University Press and Royal Bank of Canada. She has a keen interest in policy development leading her to take on a research role with the NGO National Energy Action, contributing to the development of fuel poverty policy. Mercy is passionate about the development of Africa which inspired her to research the nature of China’s investment in Ghana and Nigeria for her dissertation. She is also part of a Foreign, Commonwealth and Development office backed mentorship scheme which has broadened her knowledge of developmental policies across the world. Mercy enjoys visiting new cities, spending time with family and friends and enjoys playing the Guitar and Piano. She is looking forward to being emersed into being a Transaid ambassador.
