Lynn has more than 25 years experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, working in technical and operational roles for a third party logistic provider and several software houses. In 2000, Lynn formed Logistics Partners, a logistics consultancy that specialises in supply chain systems and logistics technology projects. Logistics Partners has a track record of ensuring that supply chain systems are implemented and operated in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Customers include Musgrave Group (Eire and UK food wholesale and retail), Jamie at Home (part of the Jamie Oliver Group), Heathrow Airport (Retail and Construction Logistics), BWG (food services), P&O Ferries (on ship retail and catering), NAAFI, GKN Freight Services, Edwards Logistics, Midlands Co-operative Society, Walker Logistics, Suttons Distribution and InterBulk Group. Lynn gained a Diploma in Logistics Management with Distinction in 2009 and is a registered Prince2 practitioner. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - CILT(UK), as well as an active member of the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) and Women in Logistics UK. Lynn has been an active supporter of Transaid for several years and in 2015 formalised this to become an Ambassador. In this role, Lynn hopes to provide some practical help to the Transaid team and raise awareness of the work of this great charity within the logistics Industry. In her spare time (away from technology) Lynn plays the flute with Dorchester based “Flute Cakes” and is an active volunteer and member of Whitchurch Silk Mill Trust, which still weaves silk on Victorian looms.
