Jayne has been instrumental in building up the Bedfordshire based family logistics company, Miniclipper Logistics, up to £20m turnover, after 10 years on the board. Working together with her husband Peter for a total of 30 years, and now with their 2 children in transport and warehousing roles in the business, the aim was to consolidate and secure the legacy of the 50 year old haulage company, and to transform the business into one of today’s most successful southern based logistics family companies. Forging strong links with peers in the UK logistics industry, and gaining a deep understanding of the transport and warehousing operations within Miniclipper, enabled Jayne and the team to secure long term customer relationships in the print, graphics, medical, and industrial sectors lasting over 20 years. She has been a judge on the Motor Transport Awards panel for over 10 years, as well as being on the receiving end of a number of MT awards. In 2023, strong interests in all things horticultural, village community activities, family support for the older and brand new generations, and a desire to understand Transaid projects in Africa are calling! Jayne has decided to become an Ambassador for Transaid, initially assisting at familiar exhibitions such as Multimodal and the CV Show, and is excited to see what she can do to encourage further corporate sponsorship for these relatable African projects.
