James Donnan

James managed the corporate partnership between National Express Group and Transaid for 13 years until 2023, supporting 23 volunteer inputs from driver trainers and graduates to progress Transaid's road safety projects. James is now an independent civil celebrant and communications adviser, having spent 35 years in business communication roles principally in the transport, energy and retail sectors. He led the development of the National Express Foundation for 10 years which impacted the lives of over 25,000 young people through the projects it supported. He is currently Vice Chair of the Birmingham Pride Community Fund which distributes proceeds from the annual Pride festival to regional LGBT+ community groups.
