How we work
We combine the expertise of the European Transport and Logistics industry with our long experience of working in the developing world. We partner with local communities, governments, donors and other organisations to achieve our aims and to provide innovative transport management solutions.
We have a core support team based in London and four permanent programme managers based overseas. Through our strong connection with the transport industry we are able to draw upon the very best logisticians and transport managers to help build capacity within our projects and also work widely with in-country consultants.
While we conduct independent research to pilot new projects where needed such as the Bicycle Ambulance Trailer Project in Zambia and the Female Market Trader’s Project in Ghana, we also work with other non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and welcome the opportunity to work as part of larger consortiums where we can offer specialist transport advice.
We are currently working with Health Partners International as part of a consortium to increase vaccination coverage and improve maternal and newborn child healthcare in Northern Nigeria. We are also working as part of a Global Fund consortium through the Society for Family Health in Nigeria which is distributing $250,000 of goods to combat malaria including bed nets, anti-malarial drugs and testing kits.
