Do you have an old car or vehicle sitting in your driveway that you want to get rid of? Transaid has joined up with Giveacar to provide a way to recycle your unwanted or scrap vehicle and raise money to help support our work at the same time!
Giveacar offers a UK-wide collection of unwanted motor vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, vans and lorries. These are then either sold at auction or sold for scrap metal if the vehicle is no longer roadworthy.
Funds raised will go to Transaid, minus an administration fee of 25% plus VAT. This is a great way to conveniently dispose of an unwanted vehicle at no cost while raising money to help support our vital work!
Simply call Giveacar on 020 0011 1664 or fill in the online donate form here, selecting Transaid as your chosen charity, to arrange the collection of your vehicle.
Giveacar will send a tow truck to collect your vehicle (usually within three days). You will then be sent a reciept to tell you exactly how much money has been raised from your donation.
