Transaid was delighted to once again be the beneficiary charity at the IFW Awards!
This year’s Freight Industry Awards was held at the Chelsea Football Club, London, on Thursday 15 October 2009. With the help of the guests an amazing £4,000 was raised on Transaid's table draw! Transaid would like to thank everyone who took part in the draw for their support. We would also like to thank Virgin Atlantic Cargo, Land Rover, The Waldorf Hilton, Bis Henderson and Chelsea Foot Ball club for donating some amazing prizes for the draw.
IFW are a strong supporter of Transaid and being the beneficiary charity has allowed us to raise funds towards our current projects, including the Professional Driver Training Project in Zambia and our project in Northern Nigeria to improve access to healthcare for women and children.
