Running events

In addition to participating on our official cycle challenges, we are delighted when supporters decide to engage in a challenge of their own choosing to raise funds and awareness.

From mud runs to local 10ks, there are a range of sporting activities that you can take part in for Transaid. Previous challenges that Transaid supporters have completed include: the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon, the Paris Marathon, and a self-organised 140 mile challenge through Pembrokeshire!

How to Get Involved

The easiest way to sign up for an event and start fundraising is to go to our Run for Charity page here. To view the list of sports challenges and events that you can participate in for Transaid over the coming year, click here. From popular obstacle course challenges, such as the infamous Rough Runner and Spartan Beast, to well-known local runs, there is something for everyone in all locations.

If you want to start fundraising online, JustGiving is a fantastic (and simple) way to raise a significant amount of money. Fast and easy to do, JustGiving sends your donations straight to us and reclaims Gift Aid automatically on our behalf. Don’t forget to make use of social media to promote your story and fundraising page!

We are here to support you throughout your challenge. Please get in touch if you would like any fundraising advice or other information.
