CEVA Logistics Midsummer Madness Golf Challenge, June 2008
Transaid member CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, recently organised its third annual golf day challenge. Fifty-six golfers participated in this Midsummer Madness extravaganza, raising over £25,000 for three charities, including Transaid. The event was held at The Warwickshire, a flagship course in Leek Wootton and involved 14 teams completing five rounds of golf in just one day. The first team teed off at 4.00am! Rupert Nichols, Director and Charity Trustee for CEVA Logistics said “Raising £25,000 in just one day for such effective charities will be an outstanding effort by all concerned”.
